Unable to move Line Object on the Report Editor

Hi Everyone,

                   I have created a report and need to distribute it through email. For which I am creating a report by going into Report -> Edit Reports. I am able to drag the charts and other objects easily on to the report editor but unable to do the same with Line/Arrow objects  which are present on the sheet. Any suggestions on how to go about this. Thanks.

Try this:

Double-click on the line/arrow object.  You'll get "Item Settings" with two tabs - General and Position.  On the Position tab, you can specify the exact position of the object in the report.

                Thanks for the reply. But the problem is I cannot drag the line /object on report editor which you can navigate through Report -> Edit Reports and not on the sheet. Thanks.

Go to the line object properties, and show the caption.  Use caption to drag the object.  Later you can hide the caption again.

Hi Shripad,

Try as mentioned below:

• Go to Properties ---> Layout --->check allow Move\Size options  and then you can move it.

• Enable the caption and drag the object.
