Unable to publish the app on the Web server

A Qlikview app is developed and we have uploaded on the publisher server.

But the job created for it is failing after every execution and the app is not available on the access point portal.

Can you please guide us if we can publish the app directly on the access point portal.

Hello @Priyanka7474

If the Publisher reload/distribution task for the QVW is failing you'll want to start by reviewing the task log and potentially the document log of the QVW associated with the task log.  By default, the task logs are stored in %ProgramData%\QlikTech\DistributionService\1\Log\DateOfTask\NameOfTask. If you have configured the QDS Application Data Folder in a different folder, you can check the location by looking in the QMC > System > Setup > Distribution Services > QDS@ > General tab.  If the task log states that the source document was NOT reloaded successfully, then you'll need to refer to the document log.

If document logging is enabled, it will be stored in the same directory in which the QVW file is housed.  If document logging is not enabled, you will need to open the QVW file in QlikView Developer, click Settings > Document Properties > General tab and ensure that the Generate Logfile and Timestamp in Logfile Name checkboxes are ticked.  Then run the reload task so that the document log is generated.

So review the logs and post back here if you need further guidance.

Best Regards
