Hi,
We are facing a weird issue wherein User permissions randomly get wiped out of certain files on QV server.
We maintain User Entitlements in a database table and on User Documents->Authorization we set to 'All Authenticated Users'
Somehow instances happen when this gets changed to 'Named Users' with a single user id , and that User does not even have admin rights to access QEMC.
Can someone help in this regards plz?
What version of QlikView are you running?
Are you using NTFS permissions or DMS permissions for authorization? If you are using DMS permissions your .META files for certain QVWs could be corrupted. So removing those .META files and rerunning the Task distribution to server will regenerate the .META files with User permissions.

Hi @swati_rastogi27,
Are you using QV Publisher or Reload Engine? If Publisher, you may have configured the reload/distribution task to distribute to Named Users only, so when the QVW is reloaded by Publisher, any configuration made to User Documents would get overwritten.
Best Regards
