Web files in Qlikview

Hi,

I'm using Qlikview personal edition 11.20. When i click on the edit script , on the right hand side there is "Web Files" . What it is and why it is used? Also what kind of files / file extension can be used  for this ?

Hi,

I have in stalled Qlikview personal edition 11.20 on 2 machines. I ahve used the web file link as below:

List of countries by population - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In one machine i'm able to see the data as a table but on the other machine it's saying "proxy authentication required". But on the both the machines the proxy setting are same. So what's needs to be done ? is there any other settings to be done?

Secondly, on what basis data is captured from the web site? What kind of data are captured as a tables in Qlikview from website. In the below screen shot on what basis @1, @2 ... will be captured.

Its basically HTML file data.

There is nothing at Qlikview level you just need to recheck proxy setting.
