What are the differences between pivot tables and straight tables?

In pivot table:

1. Manual Sorting CANNOT BE done at every column

2. Grouping and Subgrouping CAN BE done.

3. Totals and Sub totals can be showed.

In straight table:

1. Manual Sorting CAN BE done at every column

2. Grouping and Subgrouping CANNOT BE done.

3. Only Totals can be showed not sub totals
