What is the purpose of port 80 and 4743 in qlikview?

What is the purpose of port 80 and 4740 in qlikview?

Does anybody know?

HI,

     Port 80 is used for HTTP request. So in qlikview when you want to access the reports or say qlikview document over browser you need the port 80 to be open at both the end. Port 80 passes the HTTP traffic.

     Port 4740 is not used in qlikview. Have a look at the document attached for more information on ports used in Qlikview.

port 80 id default for IIS server . which work as web server

where as 4740 is qlikview server which is work as also web server.

Hi Sona,

I believe that port 80 is used by the Qlikview Access point to share the available Qlikview documents/reports with the users. Port 80 is a standard http protocol used to access web pages on the World Wide Web (WWW).

The Qlikview Enterpise Management Console (QEMC) uses port 4780 to make the console available to the administrator/developer.
