When I refer to a report in this post, I am referring to the PDF reports generated from the Report Designer WITHIN a Qlikview document. I'm not referring to the whole qlikview document as a "report".
On the Report Designer design surface the three buttons at the bottom right corner are greyed out -- the wrench, the delete button, and the plus sign.
Here's the scenario:
1. Go to the report designer "Report List", under "Available Reports" select "Shared Server Reports"
2. I then do Edit>>copy to copy one of the shared reports
3. I then change the "Available Reports" drop down to "My Server Reports" and Edit>>paste to paste in a new copy of this report
4. I then click the Edit button to edit this report.
5 PROBLEM: despite the fact this is in "My Server Reports" the three buttons on the bottom right corner of the Report Designer design surface are greyed -- the wrench, the delete button, and the plus sign. Note I can still edit the report, I can click on an object on the report and delete or copy/paste it but for some reason these buttons are greyed out. Why? More perplexing they were not greyed out yesterday when I was using the exact same steps as above to copy/paste and then edit new reports.
Is there some setting that controls this? Is it possible if another user has the report open funky things like this can happen?
