Windows 8.1 and IE 11

Hi Everyone,

I just upgraded my pc on Windows 8.1 with IE 11 and QV Webmode cannot run now.

Any advices please.

Hi,

as of today, only Windows 8 and IE10 are supported in QlikView 11.20 SR2 (more info here).

But what about windows 8.1 and IE11?

My client is rolling it out shortly and so far it looks like the IE plugin will not work with IE11. After you install it in compatibility mode, IE 11 doesn't execute the plugin or even ask permission to Allow it.

I have installed the new 11.20 SR4 and tried, still not work on Windows 8.1 and IE11.

Take a look on their system requirements document (QlikView 11.2 SR4 System Requirements.pdf) I see that they did not support for IE11 Windows 8.1.

8.1, windows 2012 R2 and IE11 are not supported in v11.20 SR4 or earlier.

Hi Everyone

I contacted Qliktech support and told me:

Microsoft just recently pulled Windows 8.1 and with that there isn't any current support for anything past 8. I would assume at the earliest IE 11 would be supported would be 11.20 SR5 but can't confirm anything at this time.

Then for any Windows 8.1 user have to wait until next releases either SR5 or SR6 right.

Although that may change in the near future but for now they will have to wait for future Service Release.
