Would it be possible to show a text object after a chart has finished loading / rendered?

Hi,

I was thinking weather it would be possible to set a conditional clause for a text object so that it would be shown only after a specific chart has finished loading. Is that possible?

AFAIK its not possible to know when a chart has finished calculation and decide loading of other chart based on that. You may control chart loading based on variable values but some action needs to be taken to change variable values so that you can decide which chart to appear based on the action taken.

Hope someone will share better ideas...

Rather not because the UI (objects) are calculated parallel in multi-threading and not sequentially and AFAIK it couldn't be influenced neither from the Qlik side nor from the OS in which order they are executed and which resources are the available.

What's the aim behind the question?

Hi @masdler1

By any chance could you provide more details about what you are trying to accomplish ? Are you trying to show a message after the other objects renders ? Are you trying to cover/hide something?

Kind Regards.
