Wrap Text in Script Editor

In script editor when I load a table by selecting 'Data from Files' and 'Table Files' the Fields are wrapped instead of each field being on a new line. I found this topic Wrap Text in Script Editor‌ from 2009 but cannot see an option to select Column, Row or Structured. Can anyone advise how to fix?

Cattura.PNGExcuse me, is an italian version.

The concept is the same I think is the same. Left the max lenght of a line code to 1 and you have the behaviour requested. Reset to a Greater value if you want more fields in one line of codes, of course.

best regards

It doesn't matter the file type, the fields are being wrapped rather than each field being on the next row. I've previously been using QV11 and now I've got a new laptop with QV12. I've never seen this before and cannot find the setting to change it

When I select Connect I get the following window, not the view you have provided.

By Clicking Connect we want to establish a connection to one of the Database(Then you can see the above screen, that what you mentioned), Later we'll select the particular Database, then only you'll see a Screen that what i was attached. From there you need to modify the options.

So try to connect a Database & select that database.

I've not got a Database to connect to. I'm working with excel files and QVD's.

If you're working with xls, xlsx, qvd files then you've to select from: Header Size & Labels options.

There's nothing there to change the format of the script from wrapping.
