Hi All,

How can we write back to oracle database tables through qlikview dashboard except macro?

Thanks!

In order to get a better response, it would be helpful if you explain the use case here...

AFAIK, it is not possible without a macro.

As, it's a Compensation related application. So, In one of the screen we have form associated with id's when admin logs in he can make changes to available values and

after saving that values should get updated into oracle table as we have modified. Also, reflect the same into dashboard after next refresh

Vijeta

Only method to do that would be the Edit Module and SQL code there, but there are a ton of caveats with that use case, it is likely better to do this outside our product somehow via capturing the things that need to be updated and exporting those etc. to something else that can then run the update in the DB...
