I have an AP table as
AP period Year startdate enddate
AP01 2012 2-Jan-12 31-Jan-12
AP02 2012 2-Feb-12 28-Feb-12
I need to calculate YTD calculation
Fact table has a field induction date. expression is sum (field) from today of induction date to start of the induction date of same year, but it should be till the AP start date.
for ex in above scenario induction date from today to 2-Jan-12 should be taken as YTD should be used and sum(field) has to be calculated ...
Field contains numeric value.
should i link induction date with AP start date..??
how to calculate YTD??
