I opened a couple of examples created by other people and now the document I created is not opening, I get the message

“Your installation of QlikView has exceeded the maximum number of document recoveries allowed for a Personal Edition…..”

I understand this happens because I can no open more that 4 documents that were created by other people but I don’t know why it is not allowing me to open the document I created?

Could you please help me?

That's the expected behavior when you have already spent the whole four license change attempts. Please check this  to more understand about Personal Edition of Qlikview Personal Edition FAQs

Has someone else saved your document since you last opened it? If so you may get this error.

I'd suggest you look into creating -prj folders for your documents as this allows you to easily rebuild your documents (without data unfortunately).

How to re-create an application from the -prj folder ?
