I need to develop applications for use in different types of devices like the iPad and other tablets, iPhone, smartphones and desktop computers in many sizes. How best to succeed? Create an application by type of equipment or build a standard format for all devices?
Claudio,
Up to you to decide. I'd probably prefer one application with different front-end tabs shown conditionally based on type of the device.
See this, it may help:

Hi,
i think it entirely depends on the size of the device.
in our organisation we developed 2 application one for the ipad version which is of size 940x768 and desktop version with different size..
we can use the same application in different devices but u will get the compatibility issue...
lets see for other community members to respond?
Thanks
Hi,
The document looks good,
suppose i have like more than 10 tabs for an application.
how do i use it.
in that case i have to create 20 tabs one for ipad version and desktop version.
so whenever the client-platform is identified then it will reduce.
@
or something different i have to do????
Thanks
"...so whenever the client-platform is identified then it will reduce."
Yes, this is what I mean.
Thanks a lot...
