To use Qlikview to report on things which are in EBS you would need to either have access to the backround production tables or create reports in EBS (excel or CSV for example) which can then be fed into Qlikview. We do this for some of our Accounts Receivable analysis.
Qlikview would be of no use until you can serve it some data.
Once you have the data then I don't think there is a better package to look at the data and start your data discorvery.
