can't show utf8mb4 Korean Character

Hi all,

I have a MySQL database contain data in Korean. The table I tried to load in Qlikview is set to  character utf8mb4.

Korean character display correctly in MySQL. But when it is loaded in Qlikview, it turned into ??? .

It looks like Qlikview supports utf8 but not utf8mb4.

Is there anyway I can resolve this?

Can you try by applying functions like text() or num() or whatever is the data..

Should I put Text(filed with utf8mb4) in load script? I

I tried text function in both load script and chart expression, but it don't seem to work.

I was using ODBC driver 3.51 to connect to mysql databasel.

I changed ODBC driver to 5.1, the problem is resolved.

Hi,

Have you tried available character sets in qlik.

Look at the highlighted in the attached image.
