hi friend
I opened an application on the server, QVS consumed 16GB of RAM , after I changed the name of the app and I opened QVS consumed 32GB , it did not empty the cache first application.
Ram server : 128 Go
Thanks.
I would not bother about the cache to be cleaned.
There is a way, but thats kinda brutal: Stop and restart your QlikView Server service, but this kills all current sessions and cleans out ALL the cache.
The alternative is what I just suggested: Not bother about it at all.
Why?
Because when your server is running out of room for caching, it starts cleaning out the least used stuff first... which happens to be the cache related to an application that no longer exists and as a result is not used at all.
So: No worries!
Non brother I will not do that.
all users are deconecter and QVS takes 32GB

Hello Ronnie Taborn
I read lots of article on this subject , but I did not understand .
I have an application that always reserve of memory, and that no one uses .
and I do not want reboot the service .
Check if the application is set to auto-load.
If nobody ever uses the application, I suggest you organize a little ceremony, invite a few colleagues, delete the app and have drinks after that.
