Hi,

When ever i click the clear button , it should select some default selection.

Example when i click the clear button, correct selection should be in default selection of  DEPT "IT" COLLAGE "AMIT".

please help me..

Make the selection first, then set this as "Clear State".

@ Henric .we need the clear state but filters may differs from sheet by sheet.

example.

in sheet1 if i select clear button it shd be in DEPT "IT" COLLAGE "AMIT".

in sheet2 if i select clear button it shd be in DEPT "COMP" COLLAGE "MIT".

in sheet3 if i select clear button it shd be in DEPT "ROBO" COLLAGE "ANNA".

i think so it's not possible dirctly,

what i suggest here, create on button with Clear all (that helps to clear all ur current selections by using default ClearAll macro) and top of that button trigger another macro to perform ur default selections.

ask ur users to use this button.

Then you need to make a button with an Action or a Macro.
