Hello
Got a line chart that is displaying on the x-axis fix period (1,2,3,4,....12)
and the dimension is the release and the line is displaying the number of defects
when I select release x the line ends at the value 7 of the x-axis
and this is true
when I select another release y; then since the line of the y release ends at 12 then the values that end at 7 will be repeated till 12
how can I force the line to stop drawing at 7 for the release x?
Please advise
Hi.
Could you add a small sample ?
check attached
select v3.1.30 line ends at 7.8
however if you clear the last value will be repeated till 11.3
I want to cut the line if you want
There is no chart.

I'm not sure I understand what you want to happen. The line for 3.1.30 stops at 7.8 whether you have it selected or not. Surely this is correct behaviour?
If you want to stop the x axis at a certain point then you either have to fix the expressions so that they only go up to that point
ie. if([EXP]<vMAX,[EXP])
or
change the axis to continuous and set the max of the axis to vMAX
Hi Ali,
Goto Axis Tab-> In the Dimension Axis Box, Select the Static Max dimensions, and Write Max({$<Period=,RELEASE=>}Period)
Its working!!
Please find the attachment!!!
no it is not working
