dropdownMenu extension

Hi All,

I am attempting to use the dropdownMenu extension.  I can get it working fine on the desktop.  However, it does not work on Access point.

We are using a Windows 2012R server.  I have installed the extension object on the server at the following location:

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\QlikViewServer\Extensions\Objects

According to documentation it also needs to be installed at C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\QlikViewServer\Extensions\Document

However, the latter location does not exist on Windows 2012R server.

Does anyone have any solution to enable this to work on Win 2012R.

Thanks

Also paste your extension to this location in server:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\QlikTech\QlikView\Extensions\Objects

This one is fine.

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\QlikViewServer\Extensions\Objects

Hi Kuwlant,

Question: How would placing the extension in the "Users/username" location actually make it available to all users via access point (rather than just the defined username)?  This does not make logical sense.

Thanks

K
