hiding data depending on the field value

Hi,

I want to hide the data depending on my field value

for example: If I have a  year column in that I have two values consider 2010 and 2011 and I have a chart with dimensions and consider only one dimensions it should hide or shouldn't display the data is there any possibilities of hiding that dimension are making that dimension inactive

Can you explain your requirement. Do you want to hide entire column(dimension) or only one row?
