hierarchy calender

Hi Experts ,

I have the following data loaded in the Report :

LOAD RequestId ,

     DisplayId ,

     CreatedBy,

     Date,

     Year,

     MonthNumber,

     MonthName,

     Quarter,

     FinancialYear

From ViewName;

I want to display the Financial Year >> Year >> Quarter>> MonthName in the hierarchial manner in the Dashboard.

I tried using the Hierarchial load method.

But that doesnt seem to be working.

Kindly Suggest on how can this be acheived.

yes please help me connecting to the data.

and also when i connected to my actual data as mentioned in the excel.

the data format is mm/dd/yyyy in the data and i used your "Date(Date#(Date,'MM/DD/YYYY'),'MM.DD.YYYY') as Date"  formula to convert it.

somehow the date is not getting converted and coming up on the canvas..

my biggest problem was trying to convert your date...

Also, I wasn't able to use a date field separated by / It only worken using date field separated by .

like this DD.MM.YYYY

Like I already said, it is the first time I use hierarchy, so I don't master the technique at all.

try to follow the steps and re-read the help.. if you're stuck I'll try to tag experts here

I have some how managed to convert the data format in the source file itself , and the data in the hierarchy calender is also reflecting in the list box.

now i need to know how to link the table to the table data for it to filter/reflect on the selection of entries in the h_date list box.

any inputs form you would be really a great help.
