how can introduce the totalizer from a column in a variable?

I mean, if I got a column with totalizer and, I want introduce the totalizer in a variable.

the object of this is, do operations with this variable in other column.

Am not sure whether I get the point, but you may have a look into the TOTAL-parameter, i.e. SUM(TOTAL Sales) should deliver the sum of all sales, regardless the dimensions in the table, but honouring the selections.
