Define a (repeatable) protocol for validation. Involve key users/end users and after the developers did the initial checks and produced a complete and reliable document (in their opinion), let the stakeholders verify their claims.

i was referring to the data/functionality validation of the application

data presented in the application .... has to be validated with the source data...how can we do this
