how to restrict qlikview from removing duplicates?
Other than adding a unique column like Rowno() in the table is there a way to keep the duplicate entries in a table?
Warm Regards,
Dawar

Hi,
We also have RecNo() function .
BTW QlikView never remove duplicates automatically. You will see distinct entries for each column but the entire dataset is stored in memory.

Yes that i know, i was speaking on view of creating a table after script is loaded. now if i want to add rows which are entirely similar into a table i have to add a unique column like rowno() or recno() which i donot want to do

Take the key you'd want in the table and do a count of the key in a list box
