$ in y -axis label

Hi,

I have month as dimension, sum(amt) as expression in a bar chart.

In y -axis display I can see numbers but want $ to be prefixed to numbers.

Can any 1 tell me the way

like this?

But this will work if chart height is enough to show static step (go to axis tab)

Rather than using the scaling options on the Number tab, select the Money option.

Hi

try this:

In the expression tab add one more :

='Total year Sales : ' & Num(Sum(Sales),'$(MoneyFormat)', '#,##0')

I am Not saying that the expression values to be prefixed with $ but its referenced y-axis data to be prefixed with $.

See the attached qvw for better scale.
