is there any way to get date field from the year

i am having only year field i do not have a date field is there any way to get the date by using the year

You can make date, but exactly what you want?

= MakeDate(Year) gives starting date of that year

ex:

=MakeDate(2010) gives 01/01/2010

I am having two year fields which one can i use

one is year and the other is CA Year

when i use year i can see answer but when i use CA Year i acan not see anything

That based on your requirement, you can use it.

MakeDate() function used for arrival the date from year.

Can you post a sample file to analysis it, without seeing your data structure its difficult to guess it
