issues after putting qvw file onto qlikview server

Hi All,

I have developed a qvw application and deployed it onto the server. When I access the file from Access point (thru web) I see that the alignments of various tables have changed and also the fonts have changed.

When I check the qvw file from desktop license everything seems to be fine. Is there a way how we can check and rectify the differences.

Regards,

Raghav

Hi,

Which web client is used to access the report from Access point?

In case of IE plug in, the alignments should not change but for Ajax/Java client the alignments changes most of the time.

HI Haneesh,

We are using Ajax as the web client to access the report. I could see that IE plugin is greyed out when I click on the dropdown to open the file. Incidentally in the management console I have enabled IE plugin as well.

Can you please suggest a way out.

Regards,

Raghav

In order for the IE plugin to show up as an option it needs to be installed on the client. Either activate the download link for the plugin in the QEMC or install it manually. (The installer can be found under C:\Program Files\QlikView\Server\QvClients\QvPlugin)

Hi Raghav,

Have you enabled 'IE plugin' in the allowed clients for the document in the publisher? Enable this and publish the document. You will be able to open the document in IE plugin

Hi Johannes,

I have already enabled the download link ID plugin option in QEMC for the file. But "IE plugin" is still greyed out from Access point.

Another option is re-design the application fixing everything to match the desired design through Ajax.

Use the Web View mode to preview it (View menu >> Turn on/off webView).
