listing days with no sales

Hello

got a traditional schema with a fact table that has sales transactions for items; this table is linked to a master calendar

what I want to have in a pivot table is the days for each item or category of items that have no sales transactions

I thought of adding dummy records in days for each item that has no transactions

can this be done via set analysis?

that's fine but what I want is to add as a dimension the product

let's say P1 has no sales in the following days in a pivot table

is this doable?

Hi,

Maybe create a table that has all the dates from your calendar  associated with a distinct product list. Create a key field with product and date on both tables. Then concatenate to your sales where the keys do not exist.

I thought of this but this will make you lose the gray colors on a list box that displays the days
