plotting a 'grouped' bar chart for more than 1 dimension

Hi,

I need to compare 2 companies based on different parameters on a yearly data.

As shown below, using a combo chart with 1 dimension (year) , 2 expressions (company 1 and company2) and setting the style as 'Grouped' subtype, I am able to plot the foll. chart:

But as shown as I add another dimension (like size, coupon etc), the grouped style is removed and is replaced by Stacked.

Is there a workaround for this issue?

Hi,

How do you want this to be represented ? That the two bars for the two companies remain, split by year. How do you want the size or coupon dimensions to be represented ?

You could try adding them as the first dimension and then setting your chart up as a Trellis. This would enable you to show for example 9 bar charts in the same objects (3 columns by three rows), with each chart being the same as your top chart but for a specific size or coupon.

Regards,

Jonathan

Hi,

Is it possible without using trellis chart? Like expressions should be represented in Bar only (Not stacked).
