seperate positives from negatives in (horizontal) straight table

Dear all,

can someone please help me out on this challange. Attached there is a QV document with 3 tables.

1. Pivot table with cumulative numbers.

2. Horizontal straight table with horizontal periods (months).

3. a screendump of Excel in which I show how the 2nd table should look like with expression Positives and Negatives.

Now the question is how do I count all negative numbers to the expression Negatives in table 2 and

how do I count all positive numbers to the expression Positives in table 2.

It should count all negative (cumulative) sums from the 1st table to the 'Negatives' expression and

all negative (cumulative) sums from the 1st table to the 'Negatives' expression.

Attached a QVW and an XLS as an example of how it should look like in table 2.

Thx in advance,

Bart

Maybe you should accumulate in your positive/negative calculations, just like you did in Balance Table 1. At the moment you're just counting the values booked in a specific period.

But maybe you have another problem in Table 1 that you need to fix first. Why does it stop working if you select for instance period 02 (total is reduced from 1.122.079,67 to 28.499,22)
