(several criteria for a set) analysis

I need some help with Set Analysis.

For hospital inpatients, providers (e.g., physicians) need to look at every medication a patient takes regularly (the ones they were taking before they were admitted to the hospital) and determine if they should continue them during their hospital stay or "hold" them during their hospital stay. However, before they complete this "Reconciliation" process, a pharmacist must first "Confirm" the medication and it’s dosage, etc. The provider responsible for Reconciliation is the provider that dictated their "History & Physical" (hereinafter referred to as "H&P") Document when they were admitted.

So I need to calculate:

  • For each H&P dictator, how many medications taken by the patients for whom they dictated H&P’s, were confirmed between 8am and 4pm the same day that the H&P was created?

  • And how many were also reconciled on that same day (same as H&P and confirmed date), before midnight?

Attached is an example .qvw. On the Med Rec Detail page, I have begun to start making pieces of these calculations (in the "counts" box). (Providers are denoted by a 5 letter mnemonic in a column called "Dictator_ID") But even my count of medications (taken by the patients for whom SPRJO created the H & P) does not match the number of medications that appear in the table box below it. How can I get numbers for what I described above?
Thank you,
Eliza

Which expression do we need to look at?

What is the expected number for the expression based on the current selection of SPRJO in Dictator_ID

None of the expressions I've come up with so far come close to the final expression needed, they are only pieces of the calculation, and I'm not sure they are right.

I think these are accurate:

        Conf 8-4

ConfDate = RecDat

Rec 8-12

But:

DocDate = ConfDate

and Meds (which is just a count of Meds)

are not.

And for SPRJO, where Discharge Date in September (as specified by Summary tab and reflected in Current Selections box as is done in current state of attached .qvw), I calculate that the answer should be:

of the 35 meds that were confirmed betw 8am and 4pm the same day as the H&P was dictated,

25 were reconciled on the same day as confirmed, before midnight
