B | BFA | 1 |
C | CASDA | 2 |
C | CSAFE | 1 |
D | DVB | 1 |

I have a straight table fir column project second column task and expressions...
i want that the project will sort abc... and in the project the task sort by 'task sort'
in the sort tab i put the project by abc and task by expression 'task sort'
the firs project is sorted but the rest are not
someone know why??

Hi Adi,

Hope this helps
Burkhard
its not working.
in my table there is no column of the sort,,,
But, Adi, I used your table from above. I mean the column 'task sort' is taken from your table ?!?
in the sceme there is that column but not in the straight table...
hope its clear...
So, if you have the dimension 'task sort' in your qvw, all is fine. You only need the expression 'only([task sort])' for the sorting of the 'task' column. No need of a column 'task sort'.
i try, bur its not working
use the match() function in SORT tab, expression Match(task,'ASDFSA','ADS','ASD')
this data is just an exemple... i dont understand your solution
