Hi Community, we have QVMC set to send notifications to a few of us when a scheduled reload fails, but it's stopped sending failure notifications as of around mid-June. At first it was sporatic- one qvw would send a notification but not another qvw on a day when both had failed to reload (a database they were querying at different times had been offline). This prompted me to rule out any changes in our email infrastructure or rules since both notifications are coming from the same entity.
A time later, even the one or two that would cause a notification stopped causing a notification even when they failed.
We recently ran the upgrade from 11.0 to 11.2 and caught up the service releases to SR12 to see if that would resolve the issue. But it hasn't.
Is this a known issue for anyone else? Any suggestions or solutions? (As I wrote this I had a thought to remove and re-add the people's email addresses for those of us wanting the notifications, to see if that just needed a meta-push or something.)
Do you have any email address in the list that no longer exist. Maybe the mail is failing because an address is not longer good. I had similar issues and I finally resolved by adding one user and testing then I added the second user and so on. QlikView seemed to be picky about how the email address were entered (spacing/carriage returns if I remember right.
I see this is a June post so this may already be resolved.
