Thanks Gysbert. I need to disconnect the forward and back buttons on the variables, perhaps there is a configuration parameter in QV environment.

Well, let me put it this way. If one of the Qlikview Masters (http://masterssummit.com/presenters/#Oleg-Troyansky) cannot do it then I doubt it's a configuration parameter setting.
