v10 Automated / Scheduled reload: skip the Leased License prompt?

Hello,

In v10, I'd like to automate reloads of qvws but am having an issue using a batch file and/or scheduling a task through windows task scheduler because when I open Qlikview desktop it always prompts me "Temporarily Used Leased License"...

Is there a way to skip this prompt or override it... A batch command or a setting in QlikView (e.g. via right clicking the QlikView Q on the About window)...

Any ideas would be great!

Thanks! Gracias!

Tyler

Hi Tyler,

Are you on SR2?  I think it is better for leased license things like this.  Perhaps not.

As you have a server in place, would it not be better to have the reload performed on the server?  It is very good at doing it.

Regards,

Stephen

Stephan,

We are getting to SR2 and it appears that the problem has gone away.

I definitely agree with using Publisher (QEMC) for scheduling and

reloading, but as a business "power-user", I do not have flexibility

with using the QEMC until my work becomes a "production"

schedule/application.
