want to copy/clone sheet but want object settigns should be different

Hi,

I have tried to copy/clone 1 sheet and i want both sheet objects settings should be different.

Now i am facing issue like while making 1 object read only in sheet1 by default same object in sheet 2 is becoming read only.

please suggest how i can make both sheets objct as separate entity.

You need to use a simple copy + paste of the sheet-objects instead of pasting them as linked objects - just using ctrl + c and ctrl + v will do it.

In addition to what Marcus stated, keep in mind that if you use the "Copy sheet" menu entry to make a copy of your reference sheet, all objects that were Linked objects in the first place will be copied as Linked objects again.

Only one way to avoid this (similar to what Marcus suggested):

• Copy your sheet using the Copy sheet menu entry
• Go to the copy and remove all objects whose originals were already linked objects.
• Go to the original sheet and copy all deleted objects to the clipboard
• Go to the Sheet copy and select Paste Sheet Object from the rightmosebuttonmenu.

or rightclick -> Linked Objects -> Unlink Object

As Marcus and Peter stated a simple Copy and Paste should work, or try unlinking the objects. I have tried and it worked for me.
