Dear Qlikview enthusiasts,
Was wondering if using ODBC to connect to HANA tables will be in any way faster then the traditional way of connecting to a SAP BW system using the Qlikview SAP connector.
Provided both tables has the same amount of rows and columns, but HANA being in-memory column based and all, will it be faster to fetch the same amount of data into Qlikview compared to using the QVSAP connector , QVSAP DSO connector or even the QVSAP OLAP connector ?
Indexes and all other criteria aside, just a ballpark definition, will it be faster to fetch.
Thanks

I wouldn't recommend using ODBC connection with BW in any case. Many threads in the SAP connector group refer to the PROs and CONs of this matter.
When BW is powered by HANA, I would expect extraction should be fast with any connector (SQL, DSO, OLAP)
