Thanks for the response. Qlik has a REST connector which can be installed and configured to work with QlikView:
The REST connector can be downloaded from the Qlik download page and is available to all QlikView customers who have a paid subscription or current support agreement.

Create an SAP SQL connection
Open a new or existing Qlik Sense or QlikView app, or add the connection as a data source in a space.
Select the SAP SQL from the list of connectors. A create connection dialog opens, like the following from the Qlik Sense Data load editor. The SAP SQL Create new connection dialog.
