Qlik SAP BW Connector Error - "Handling of duplicate Keys not possible."

Dear Experts,

I need your help in understanding and solving the issue which I have recently faced. Below is the Problem Statement.

Background:

I am using QlikView version 11.20 SR 10

SAP Connector version 5.80 SR4

SAP BW version 7.40

SAP Database Hanna

Problem :

I am connecting to SAP BW and Qlik using SAP connector. While extracting data I am getting error as below.

"Key: [0PROFIT_CTR].[ has been assigned KeyPos: -1 in c.m_HierarchyKeys. Thus, the Key already exists in c.m_HierarchyKeys. Handling of duplicate Keys not possible."

I dont know what this error is all about. Also have no idea about whether this is a Qlik SAP connector issue or SAP side issue.

Hi, I believe that you have a hierarchy leaf or node that is duplicated in the selected hierarchy for 0PROFIT_CTR (TEST_GLOBAL MIS HIERARCHY_BO). This leads to an error in the extraction in the OLAP connector. If possible: remove the duplicate from the hierarchy (should it be there?). Otherwise: Register a case with Qlik Support.

Hi Jakob,

I had filed a case with Qlik Support and they confirm that its a Bug.

Hope to see the bug fixed in next service release of SAP connector.

Hi Kaushik,

if this is confirmed as a bug, try to use only the Profit Center values as a plain field without hierarchy and export hierarchy via Extractor Connector.

Maybe this might be a workaround until it's fixed.

Same issue with Qlikview Desktop 12.5 and SAP Conccector 7.0.3.
