Unable to connect to Oracle DB

Hi,

We are trying to setup oracle connectivity on Qlik, but getting below error:

 

  • SYS-E-HTTPFAIL, Stream component initialization function has failed for component 'Oracle', type 'Oracle'..
  • SYS,GENERAL_EXCEPTION,Stream component initialization function has failed for component 'Oracle', type 'Oracle'.,Cannot load <libclntsh.so, libclntsh.so.12.1, libclntsh.so.11.1, libclntsh.so.10.1, >: No such file or directory Cannot load <libclntsh.so.10.1>: libclntsh.so.10.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Cannot load <libclntsh.so.11.1>: libclntsh.so.11.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Cannot load <libclntsh.so.12.1>: libclntsh.so.12.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Cannot load <libclntsh.so>: libclntsh.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

It looks like the error might come from the Oracle native client, could you confirm ?

Have you attempted to use our driver instead?

Hello Kalyan,

1. Are you using Qlik Connector or an OSBC Driver?
2. Can you connect to the data using another tool form the Qlikview as the service account?
3. Please review the below link on connecting to via ODBC
