Business Objects Universe Direct Connect?

We are working with Fortune 1000 enterprise accounts on accessing Business Objects Universe data several different ways.  Tapping BO reports as data, BO PDF's as data, and of course all BO Universes as data, direct.  And we do it through QlikView.  Let us know how to make this the best BO Universe solution for your company.

A Business Objects Universe is a meta data layer and it is providing no data at all. Can you please describe what your solution is providing?

And, I'm really curious what means the "Direct" in your proposition?
