Extensions Problem

Hello,

I am quite new at qlikview. i am trying to install an extension, however on the one that i have downloaded I havent found a .qar file so i am not sure if it is that i have downloaded a bad example or I am lost (probably lost).

Hi, Actually you don't need a .qar file. All these files are enough. Just copy those files into a folder (Rename the folder to a appropriate extension name) and paste into path "C:\Users\%userprofile%\AppData\Local\QlikTech\QlikView\Extensions\Objects" Then it should be fine. Thanks Abhiram

You will need to make sure the folder name matches the extension name in the script & definition files as well otherwise the system doesn't know where to pull files from
