ODBC Connection to Jade Thin Client - exclamation in password

Hi All!

Hope lockdown is treating you well ^_^

Got an issue connecting to GreenTree's Jade db using Qlik - the password has an exclamation mark in it and no matter why I try, I can't get Qlik to recognise it as part of the password string, rather than a special character.

Any way round this, or do I need to contact New Zealand to get the password changed?

Have tried password in quotes and also scrambled and it appears to get past the Syntax error, but then it pops up with a box and asks for the password again, making it useless for automatic ETL processing.

ODBC CONNECT32 TO [Greentree thin-client] (UserId is $(vG.GTUser), Password is $(vG.GTPass));

Syntax error

Unexpected token: '!', expected one of: ',', ')'

ODBC CONNECT32 TO *** (UserId is ***, Password is ***>>>>>>!<<<<<<)
