QlikView 11 and Java Integration via QMS API

Hello everyone,

I've been trying to utilize the QV web service on Java but I'm getting errors on the WSDL file.

WSDL error.png

Even in C#.net, I was not able to succeed using the web service by following the sample implementation mentioned at QMS API documentation.

Is there someone, succeeded utilizing the QV 11 web service ?

Please help.

Any response is highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Arnold

The WSDL- and Schema-Files are not usable for Java (I used JAX-WS/METRO to generate the stubs - AXIS2 does'nt worked at all), you need to modify them a little bit. Sadly I cannot attach the files here. Is there a area where I can post attachments (if someone is interested)?

It's difficult to get Java to work with the QMS API. The API requires Windows Auth, which I've never been able to get working with Java.

I am able to use org.apache.http.auth package to implement NTLM authentication and  implemented sso from our web app to qlikview in JSP page. Now I am looking into how to use QMC web service api to use from java but issue I have WSDL from http://<host_name>:4799/QMS/Service is not working as I am getting parse errors.

In the post I see Lars Bayer said he was able to get the wsdl working. So I am looking for the either to generate the wsdl properly or working WSDL itself.

Thanks,

Rakesh
