Qlikview Service Credentials

Hello,

on QV Server are running 5 services.

QlikView Server can start on local system but other 4 services requires other credentials.

Now we are running these services on adoministrator account but i would like to know how minimal credentials must have user for running QV DSC,  QV DS,  QV MS and Webserver.

Thank You for Your help

Gregor

Just to clarify one point, the account does not have to be a domain administrator, it can be a domain user etc., but it must be a 'local' administrator on the server(s), and it will also need to be a member of the QlikView Administrators local security group as well.

Hello,

The QlikView service account (for all services, especially the QlikView Server service) are required to have administrative permissions and to be a dedicated service account. See QlikView Service Account Requirements for details.

Running them without administrative permissions is not currently supported. It used to be in QlikView 10, but is now a clear requirement for our services.
