Hello everyone,
i need to load an excel file that is formatted this way into qlikview:
jan | feb | mar | adjustment | ||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Customer1 | unit price | 10 | 10 | 10 | |
Customer1 | budget | 100 | |||
Customer1 | rolling | 110 | 50 | ||
Customer2 | unit price | 20 | 20 | 20 | |
Customer2 | budget | 200 | |||
Customer2 | rolling | 250 |
Is the first time i try to import this kind of data. I need them to be load in a linear way like:
Customer | Month | Metric | Value |
---|---|---|---|
Customer1 | Jan | Unit Price | 10 |
Customer1 | feb | Unit Price | 10 |
Customer1 | jan | Budget | 100 |
Any idea's on how to achive this result?
Thanks and best regards,
Juan Pedro
Use the Crosstable prefix, and make sure to list the fields in the right order: First the non-months and then the months:
Crosstable (Month, Amount, 3)
Load Customer, AmountType, Adjustment, jan, feb, ... From ...
