Hierarchy?

Hi everyone,

I have some data in a slightly odd format- please take a look at the attached file with similar data structure. Ideally, I would want to track the stage in film production by year and by quarter of the year, but not sure how to plug this data into Qlikview. I tried a cross table, but it doesn't reflect different years. Could building a hierarchy work?

Thanks,

Anna

@Rahul Gupta, how would a chart reflecting different stages of production be structured? Ideally, I would want to have year(or quarter) and film as dimensions, and to show different stages in expression.

Thanks,

Anna

Hi Anna,

In the attached app, we have 4 dimensions namely:

1. Year

2. Quarter

3. Films

4. Data(i.e the Status of the Film)

So, its up to you that How you structure a chart based on the requirement.

Attached is the updated app for your reference.

Regards

Rahul
