IPAD app vs Safari

Hi,

I m trying to access an access point from both safari and IPAD app. From safari I m able to login and view the app but when entering the access point in Add Access Point option in IPAD app I get an error ' Error contacting the server'.

Please let me know why an access point is not reachable from IPAD app but from Safari.
