How to solve a LeasedLicenseCheck=INTERNAL ERROR issue in the settings.ini file?
Hi @Chip_Matejowsky ,
We completely removed the settings.ini file and then Qlikview was able to recreate a working one.
=> Problem solved.
Thanks for your quick suggestions!
Hi, we will need more information, like for what product is this, when it happens, what is the expected result you are looking for, and maybe add a screenshot with the error.
Hi @Erik-Jan,
As @rubenmarin stated, can you provide more information? You can start by reviewing the Qlik Knowledgebase articles/videos How to Lease a License from QlikView Server to QlikView Desktop and Troubleshooting QlikView License Lease Issues.
Best Regards
Hi, I just experienced that on my laptop everything works fine; my virtual machine encounters the problem mention above. Apperantly the Qlikview server is not causing the problem.
So, I will first figure out with our IT team, if the problem can be solved by them.
Best regards.
Hi @Erik-Jan,
Are you using Citrix or some other terminal service technology? If so, have a look at the following items:
I have worked with some customers in the past regarding QV Desktop license lease issues in these environments and things came down to ensuring that there is nothing blocking the %Users%\<username>\AppData\Roaming\QlikTech\QlikView directory and specifically the Settings.ini file in this directory. This file is where the LeasedLicenseCheck=INTERNAL ERROR you mentioned occurs.
